VetSource is our on-line store. This feature allows the owner to purchase items on-line, recieve prescriptions, reorder refills, order food, etc. from the convenience of their home 24 hours a day. The delivery charge is minimal for medications and food. If you elect to start the "feed me" program then shipping is waived. The "feed me " program is an autoship preference. Every month or other designated time the owner recieves the food in the quantity that was selected. No more running around looking for the special diet. It is shipped to your door. You never run out and always have fresh food. This is espeically important for those pets whose diet needs are strict. No more having to make due till the food arrives or is ordered. This is just another way we at MaRiLa Veterinary Clinic are trying to work with you to provide the best care for your family member

Therapeutic Laser :

Therapeutic Laser is used in many modalities to heal on its own or assist healing after other measures have been done first. It has been used with such things as post-op care for anterior cruciate repair, intervertebral disc problems, fractures, rehabilitation, post-op pain of various kinds, and with the use of essential oil therapy. The use of essential oils is based on the fact that the essential oils have a range vibrational range for effectiveness.  By using the laser these frequencies are enhanced and the oils have more benefit. The laser also has a better effect with the use of the essential oils. The oils used must be pure since sub-standard oils can have an adverse effect by increasing the vibrational energy of toxic agents and not the pure essential oils.

Is therapeutic laser the same as surgical laser? No although the same equipment can be used.

How is it different?  The watts are much much lower. The beam can be delivered in a pulse or continuous fashion depending on the condition.

How long does it take? A session can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes depending on how big the area of concern or the depth of the area that is being treated.

How often is the laser used? Ususally with most conditions the treatments are given 1-2 times per week for 4-6 weeks. Then the frequency is decreased to 1-2 times per month and varied depending on the response of the condition. Repeating of initial therapy protocol is likely with chronic osteoarthritis, ligament damage or with cancer.
